Cách Trả Lời IELTS Speaking Part 1: Bứt Phá Band Điểm Với Công Thức A.R.E.A

Công Thức A.R.E.A - "Vũ Khí" Phát Triển Ý Cho Mọi Chủ Đề
Tại I-MAC English, phương pháp Đa Phản Xạ Học Thuật (MAC) luôn hướng dẫn học viên không cần nghĩ điều gì quá cao siêu, mà hãy áp dụng tư duy logic thông qua công thức A.R.E.A (Answer-Reason-Example-Alternative).
Bước 1: A-Answer (Trả lời trực tiếp)
Ngay lập tức đưa ra câu trả lời thẳng vào vấn đề, tránh vòng vo.
- Cụm từ gợi ý: "Yes, definitely...", "To be honest, not really...", "Absolutely...".
- Ví dụ: (Do you like cooking?) -> Yes, definitely. I'm quite keen on cooking whenever I have free time.
Bước 2: R-Reason (Nêu lý do)
- Cụm từ gợi ý: "This is mainly because...", "The reason behind this is...", "I guess it's due to the fact that...".
- Ví dụ: ...This is because it helps me to relax and unwind after a stressful day at university.
- Cụm từ gợi ý: "For instance...", "A clear example of this is...", "Take last weekend as an example...".
- Ví dụ: For instance, last Sunday, I prepared a hearty seafood pasta for my family, and they absolutely loved it.
Bước 4: A-Alternative / Addition (Ý thay thế / Bổ sung)
Cung cấp thêm một khía cạnh khác, điều kiện trái ngược hoặc bổ sung thông tin để làm câu trả lời trở nên toàn diện và phô diễn cấu trúc câu phức.
- Cụm từ gợi ý: "However...", "Having said that...", "On the other hand...", "In addition...".
- Ví dụ: Having said that, I usually eat out on weekdays since my schedule is quite hectic.

- [A] Having said that, I sometimes miss having a private garden to grow my own plants.
4. Which room does your family spend most of the time in?

3. Do you think people spend too much time on their phones?
- [A] Yes, I strongly believe so.
- [R] People nowadays seem to be glued to their screens, constantly scrolling and checking for notifications.
- [E] Take a look at any coffee shop, for example; it's common to see groups of friends sitting together but just staring at their own phones.
- [A] Although smartphones are incredibly useful, this over-reliance is definitely harming real-life, face-to-face communication.
4. How has technology changed the way people communicate?
- [A] Technology has completely revolutionized the way we interact with one another.
- [R] It has removed geographical barriers, allowing instant connection with anyone across the globe.
- [E] For instance, I can easily make a high-quality video call to my relatives in the US for free using apps like Zalo or Skype.
- [A] On the downside, some people argue that this virtual communication makes modern relationships feel less authentic.
5. Do you prefer reading physical books or e-books?
- [A] I have a strong preference for physical books.
- [R] I guess it's because I love the tactile sensation of turning the pages and the unique smell of printed paper.
- [E] For example, I have a massive bookshelf in my bedroom filled with classic literature and self-help books.
- [A] Even though e-books on a Kindle are much more convenient to carry around, reading on a screen for too long really strains my eyes.
